The Citadel of Saladin, Cairo

View of the domes and twin minarets of the Ottoman style Muhammad Ali Mosque raising above the walls of the Cairo Citadel, also known as Citadel of Salah ad-Din (Saladin). The 52 meter tall central dome is 21 meters in diameter, and is supported by four semi-circular domes and surrouonded by other four smaller domes. The two minarets, in typical Ottoman fashion, have two balconies each and conical caps. They both rise to 82 meters.
