» Ensure that shops is achieving the sales targets and gross margin as budgeted
» Produce quantitative and qualitative sales report
» Ensure that sales are supported by good customer service and efficient use of the customer database.
» Ensure new products are available and aligned with the marketing calendar and as per the brands’ guidelines
» Ensure adequate stock level in all shops and take corrective actions towards over/out of stock situations
» Supervise the preparations for the inventory and hold accountable for inventory results
» Ensure that all merchandize in all shops is bar-coded and priced correctly
» Monitor merchandizing in all shops as per the guidelines.
» Contact the logistics department frequently to be updated on all issues (slow moving items – promotions …. etc).
» Contact the Warehouse daily to ensure that the orders are delivered in time specially in unexpected cases
» Responsible for following up on promotions & prices with the Competitor & feedback the Operation Manager to act accordingly
» Coordinate with the back office, suppliers, logistics, marketing and merchandizing in regard of new launches, in store animation or renovation.
» Report any issues on the shop floor and propose solutions
» Responsible for following up on maintenance activities within shops.
» Responsible for rescheduling the staff sales and the managers from time to time and from location to location in order to improve the performance of the staff.
» Ensuring that all leaves taken by staff members doesn’t affect customer services or shop security
» Ensure all the time that company’s policies and procedures are carried out by all staff equally
» Organize staff meetings to review sales achievements, marketing activities, training …
» Ensure delivering the best level of customer service by being frequently present in floor with the team
» Can be involved in the recruitment process of Store Managers, Assistant Store Managers and Sales Executives within his/her domain
» Manage, engage and guide the team reporting to him/her
» Conduct the appraisal and assessment of own team members
» Set the objectives and budgets for own team members and ensure their accomplishment
» Responsible for coaching and training own team members, and formalise and follow up on each team member’s Individual Development Plan, in coordination with the employee and HR
» Ensure identification and proper development and recognition of Talents within his/her unit.
