Cairo’s stock market opens the first session of the trading week in red.
The EGX 30, the main benchmark index of the Egyptian stock exchange, opened on 13,997 points on the first session of the trading week.
By 11:10 GMT it had reached 13,995, a drop of 0.01 percent from opening.
Speaking at 09:00 GMT, dealer Naglaa Farag said a steep drop at 09:00 GMT was caused by Arab traders and foreign financial institutions selling and Egyptian individuals buying.
